Saving time and labor weeding.  Landscape managers stand to benefit from research from Cornell University’s Horticulture department and the NYS Integrated Pest Management Program on weed-suppressive groundcovers. This course profiles each of the top performing perennials. Fourteen in all —some familiar, others new.  Growing conditions, plant attributes and landscape niche are all covered.

FACTS ABOUT this Module: You must be logged in and working in the course activities for a minimum of 3/4 of an  hour. The credits are earned after completing the Pre-Test, reading and studying the content of the module, then successfully completing the Post-Test. The last thing is to click on the certificate function. A temporary certificate will be generated. An official certificate will be mailed to you.

Successful completion of this module will earn you 0.75  recertification credits for New York State DEC certified pesticide applicators in categories 1a, 3a, 3b, 6a, 10, 24, and 25.

*Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, and Connecticut have approved all DLC courses and awards the same credits as New York.
